WRBB photographer Ella Bramwell went to Harvard’s Jordan Field Tuesday and captured the sights of Northeastern’s 4-0 win over the Crimson. See more of her photos below.
The Huskies were helped to the win by four different goal scorers including senior Federico Tellez (pictured above) who scored his first of the season in the 10th minute. Additionally, sophomore forward Fraser Brown and graduate student defender Jack Monte picked up their fourth and third goals of the season respectively. Monte’s header that lead to his goal in the 66th minute is pictured below.
Junior Griffin Polinsky rounded out the scoring for the road team, notching his first career goal off a pass from forward Ethan Franco in the 75th minute. Six different Huskies scored points during the match, with a goal and an assist apiece for both Polinsky and Tellez.
The win brings Northeastern to an overall record of 3-1-2, with a match against CAA opponent William & Mary next on deck on Saturday, Sept. 16.
WRBB returns to live coverage of Northeastern men’s soccer on Saturday, Sept. 23, when the Huskies take on Stony Brook at Parsons Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
