HEMPSTEAD, N.Y — Despite a 25-point effort from TJ Williams, Northeastern fell to Hofstra by a score of 78-73 Saturday night at the Mack Sports Complex.

Justin Wright-Foreman carried the Pride by scoring 30 points and adding six rebounds. Northeastern was up 17-11 with 11 minutes remaining in the first half, but went down by nine points at the end of the first half following two scoring droughts of more than two minutes. Hofstra pushed the lead to 15 points midway through the second half, but then went on a seven-minute field goal drought of their own. Taking advantage, Northeastern slowly cut into the lead, but was unable to complete the comeback ultimately losing their third straight.
