AUDIO: Malgeri and Viera Go Yard To Earn First-Ever CAA Championship For Northeastern

Heading into the bottom of the ninth, Northeastern trailed UNCW 10–9. The Seahawks send Landen Roupp, the CAA Pitcher of the Year, back to the mound after two-plus innings of relief work. Roupp had struck out nearly every Husky he’d faced, and it looked as though the Huskies were toast.

The former took Roupp deep to force extra innings, and the latter followed suit to end the tournament and secure Northeastern’s first title since joining the conference in 2006. Take a listen as Milton Posner and Jack Sinclair call a pair of legendary moments.
